Sivan Cruywagen

Si’van Cruywagen is a classically trained mezzo-soprano and passionate music educator with a strong foundation in vocal performance, music theory, and vocal pedagogy. She holds a Bachelor of Music and an Honours Degree in Music from the University of Pretoria and has experience teaching students from ages 7 to adults in both private and institutional settings.

Alongside her teaching, Si’van is an active performer, having appeared as a soloist and choral member in university and professional opera productions, including works by Purcell and Bizet. Her approach to teaching blends solid technical foundations with creativity, helping students express themselves confidently through music while building discipline, musicianship, and a genuine love for singing.
